Soap needs to cure to allow excess water to evaporate, which makes the bar harder, longer-lasting, and milder on the skin. During this time—usually 4 to 6 weeks for cold process soap—the soap also completes saponification (if not already finished) and becomes gentler as the pH levels stabilize.

You have the option of having the soap shipped to you 3 days after they are made to cure in your possession or have them shipped in 4 weeks after curing in the shop owners possession.

Storage: Its best to let the soap rest in a soap dish to dry completely in between uses as this will add longevity to the bar.
